Public Works Maintenance Worker I: The City of Dacono is seeking an individual to fill a Maintenance I Position. This position performs a variety of maintenance, repair and construction work on public facilities and projects.This is a full-time position. 

Essential Job Functions: Participates in the manual labor associated in the operation, maintenance, repair and construction of the roadway system, storm drainage system, parks and water system.

Qualification Requirements: Must have good communication skills. Must have the ability to safely use and operate tractors, snowplows, backhoe, lawnmower, various spray equipment and power tools. Must be able to perform a variety of tasks for periods in unfavorable weather conditions.  Required to respond to emergency after hour calls and on-call responsibilities.  Educational requirements for this position are at least a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). 

Applicant must possess a Class B CDL with air brake endorsement within twelve months of employment.  Applicant will be certified in water distribution (Class I) within one-year from hire date.  Hourly wage is $15.91-$19.35 depending on experience, plus full benefits. The position is open until filled.
